Priya Desai

Priya Desai spent several years at a regional business publication before joining Chicago Gust, where she developed expertise in commercial real estate and startup ecosystems. Her reporting has followed major developments from River North to the South Loop, and she's known for breaking down complex deals in terms that matter to everyday Chicagoans. She holds a journalism degree from Northwestern's Medill School and joined Chicago Gust in 2025.
